This is a digital multi-size dartless bodice pattern block for woven fabrics. It’s graded from US Size 2 to 16 (=UK Sizes 6-20, EU Sizes 34-48, IT Sizes 38-52) and drafted for women’s wear. Check the measurement charts in the pictures to see detailed measurements for different sizes.
There are three sets of patterns for three different heights so that you have more variety to choose from.
A dartless bodice block is a basic pattern that is used as a foundation for many different garment designs. It is a simple pattern that doesn’t have any darts, making it ideal for creating garments that have a looser, more relaxed fit.
You can use this dartless bodice block to draft, for example, t-shirts, sweaters, loose-fitting blouses, and classic shirts. It can also turn into a dress.
The bodice comes with a straight sleeve. The pattern has no seam allowance.
You’ll get a booklet (metric and imperial) with instructions to adapt the pattern block to your measurements. In addition, you’ll learn how to modify the amount of ease to make the block more versatile.
There are both home printing (A4) and copy shop (A0) versions of the PDF file. Both versions have layers so that you can view and print the size(s) you want.
